Well I must say I am very impressed with the Zager instrument.  Especially considering its relative low cost. It is so nice to be able to actually tune a guitar perfectly and have it stay in tune and also be in tune on the upper registers.  I do a lot of capo work so that is huge for me. 

And the sound plugged in is really nice.  I just have to get used to having a sensitive transducer. Now that I know I really like Zager,  do I keep this one (20 series) or swap this for the ZAD50CE.

I got the guitar a couple of days ago and it is beautiful!  I wasn't sure if I'd like the sunburst design, but I just love it. I have strummed at it a little and it feels so nice in my hands.  Anyway, you can probably tell that I am very happy with the guitar.  I've got to get some cord music so I can play and sing those old songs. 

I love its action, fit and finish, sound quality and Ease of play in very lower price. In any other brand all these this in very high price. And one another thing construction quality of this guitar is great and best quality wood used by denny.

Awesome Acoustic Electric Zager Zad80ce Review from Tin Seneca

I picked up my new ZAD80CE on Saturday....I fooled around with it for an hour at my Father/Brother's business with the sound of power sander and table saw in the background. First thing I said "well the neck/action is comfortable". Then I took my 45 mile drive home in a hurry to come home and play this guitar. I messed around with it for a few hours, putting my hands through the test in between watching my 14 month old daughter. I love the sound, bright but deep. Even better that I was looking for. 

I had a couple songs that I was working on. One for my metal band that I thought the acoustic would sound great in the verses and a country song that I'm working on to try to sell to Nashville. I practiced the parts a couple times, miked it up and just flew through it. Sounds awesome.

 Played it yesterday for a little bit in between working on bass lines for a song and I love it. Is the hype about the Zager "String Science" all it's cracked up to be??? Yes. It's not hype. It's real. I will be emailing you a real testimonial on the guitar in a week or so for you to post on your website. I just wanted to give you a quick message.

Zager Zad20 & Big Baby Mahogany Review From Macaluso

When I first read about Zager guitars, I was curious on how it really works. The descriptions of their guitars always seems too good be true, like it’s the guitar of the future. But when I bought myself one and started using it … it really is the guitar of the future.

 

It’s really easy to play and very sturdy. I now own two Zager guitars, a Zager Zad20 and Zager Big Baby Mahogany. 

My zager Zad20 is a medium size guitar with a well-made beautiful inlay made out of Sitka Struce. It’s an acoustic guitar releasing a really good full rich sound. I even plugged it in an amplifier and it still doesn’t and it doesn’t give off that buzzing sound.

While my Big Baby is really a smaller style of a dreadnought guitar but still releases this awesome sound which I won’t get on guitars with same prices. It’s made out of Mahogany wood.

They even have this lifetime warranty on their guitars so I’m pretty sure that my guitar will always be in top shape, not that it isn’t. It still sounds good as new.

This guitar was produced in 2010. Following is a partial list of features; Style; Dreadnought, Closed grove keys; hand fitted saddle;hand fitted frets; abalone inlay rosette; mahogany sides and back; spruce top; sunburst finsih; Electronics are active and include, high/mid/low/volume/and presence controls, and a built in tuner.
Sound : 9
The guitar has a full bright sound without sounding tinny. The advantage of this sound is it carries well without being amplified and is very good when being played with non amplified instruments such as banjos, etc.
Action, Fit, & Finish : 10
Construction and action are the keynotes of Zager guitars. This is one catagory that rates a full 10 of both Zager guitars I have purchased.
Reliability/Durability : 10
This is one catagory that I cannot speak of from persona experience as I have just purchased the guitar. I can only state what appears to be and what I believe except for the first item. I have used the guitar on two gigs with no problems, albiet connecting the strap on the neck with leather ties. Can I depend on it? Yes, I believe so.

I can only say that in my experience, Zager is the best guitar company I have ever delt with. Qualifying that with, in the past I have only delt with authorized dealers. And everyone knows that any warranty on anything is only as good as the dealer.
However, dealing with Zager eliminates that problem.
The warranty is life time. P. S. When dealing with Zager Guitar, you do not deal with telephone menues, but a real person.

I have been playing for over thirty years, bass guitar, a little lead guitar and some keyboard, country and old rock and roll. Recently, I've been moving into bluegrass. I. E. the reason for a new box guitar. I looked and compared quality and price with Gibson/Martin/Fender for three months before I purchased. The selling feature was Zager Modification. The strings on this guitar are almost as close to the frets as my Tele and it has no string buzz.
